Kincaid Henry was contracted early in the pre-planning of the Armory Redevelopment by the Gillespie Group.  We worked with them through design, historical designation, costing, feasibility, planning and structuring. This former Armory built in 1924 was redeveloped in to an office building, housing a group of Non-Profit Organizations including Michigan Non-Profit Association of Michigan, Capital Area United Way, United Way of Michigan, Capital Area Community Foundation, Lansing Area Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Opportunity Resource Fund, and the Developer, Pat Gillespie and the Gillespie Group.

The building is SERF Certified, holds State and Federal Historic Designations and was completely redeveloped using the latest Green Technologies. Green features include an ultra efficient heating and cooling system called "City Multi", low flow water fixtures, low VOC glues, adhesives and paint, energy efficient lighting, natural daylight, closed cell spray foam on the exterior walls and low E insulated windows throughout.
