Career Quest

This building sat vacant for nearly eight years before it was redeveloped by Kincaid Henry and their partners. Over that time, the building had been vandalized and the roof was destroyed, leaving it exposed to the elements and full of toxic mold.  Kincaid Henry worked closely with Career Quest, the building developer, the Lansing Economic Development Council, Studio Intrigue Architects, and the financing institution to bring this project to fruition.  Everything on the building was stripped and removed until only the concrete floors, exterior block walls and the roof deck was left.  The building was then completely built back out for the use of Career Quest.  Standing in the new lobby of Career Quest, one would never know what an amazing transformation this building went through over the summer and fall of 2008.  Mayor Virg Bernero put it the best when stating at the grand opening, "This project is mold to gold!"
